Join the Content Marketing team at Glassdoor to help us amplify the stories that help job seekers and employers experience and create ideal workplaces.

The Content Marketing team consists of storytellers and change-makers who focus on high-impact, high-visibility content. As a Video intern, you will be responsible for leveraging mixed media to produce video stories highlighting topics that are top of mind for job seekers, employees, and employers. These may include salary negotiation strategies, interview tips, workplace trends, DEI, and the like. This role will report to the Content Marketing Manager.

What You'll Do:

  • Create high-quality videos that will attract attention to proprietary Glassdoor content
  • Distill our most important long-form blog posts into video shorts, edit them, and apply screen and motion graphics as needed
  • Build relationships with internal talent performing remotely using video capture and art direction tools
  • Provide direction, remotely,  to advise internal talent on recommendations for capturing footage to use for creating video content
  • Conduct research and/or review materials to understand various tools, systems, and processes to optimize visual and video content
  • Research the market and identify opportunities and trends (via platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, Youtube, etc.) to bring to the table that may generate interest among employers and/or job seekers
  • Bring a positive attitude and thoughtful contributions to our team brainstorms
  • Work with Content Marketing Manager to edit blog content into concise scripts and/or talking points for on-screen talent
  • Collaborate with members of the brand creative team to apply branded intros, outros, and lower-third screen graphics
  • Work cross-functionally to connect the dots with other teams through visual storytelling
  • Develop a repository of videos and recommend best uses for future pieces on the content hub
  • Leverage motion graphic and data visualization tools to augment live footage

What You’ll Bring

  • An addition to our culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Strong experience with FinalCut Pro and/or Premier, OpenReel. Experience with AfterEffects is a plus.
  • Self-starter who is relentlessly resourceful and able to both drive storytelling through video projects autonomously and ask for input when needed
  • High EQ and an excellent communicator; capable of building strong relationships and conveying complex information to a range of audiences
  • Strong listening skills, ability to understand the “why” and get to what matters quickly
  • An appreciation for written content and an understanding of how to translate it visually
  • A passion for storytelling and creativity
  • A deadline-driven, consistent team player who values attention to detail
  • Desire to learn and develop new skills necessary for a career as an editor, designer, or media content producer

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in an educational institution with a focus on or strong background in video production  
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to commit for the entire 3-month term of the internship

Hourly pay rate: $25.00

Glassdoor Internship Program

  • 12 week virtual program where you'll manage projects and tasks, participate in engaging virtual events, and learn valuable skills!
  • Full-time program (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week).
  • Fully remote: work almost anywhere within the United States.
  • Fully paid program and paid company holidays.

Being a remote-first company, Glassdoor employees can live anywhere Glassdoor is a registered company. Requests to move must be approved by an employee’s manager and the People team.
